Description
Watchtower on the bulwarks of the old city of Briancon. Located in Southern French Alps, at 1.326 m above sea level, Briançon is the highest city in France. This fortified city (by the famous architect Vauban in the 18th century), was classed as World Heritage by UNESCO in 2008.
