Description
Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Kammerzell House. The Notre-Dame Cathedral of Strasbourg is one of the most beautiful Gothic cathedrals in France. The construction began in the year 1015. The bell tower is 142 m high. The cathedral was until the nineteenth century the highest building of all Christendom. The colors of the walls are pink or brown, because they were built of sandstone of the Vosges.
